【Outfit Diary - My Converse week】

Chance the rapper wears it, Millie Bobby Brown wears it, even supermodel Winnie Harlow wears it. Let’s wear it. Let’s wear Converse the one shoes that fit all. (Admit it, there’s nothing more versatile and inexpensive than this sneakers.) I personally love the white Chuck Taylor All Star ‘70 the most because of its red and blue details and lower ankle design, which makes me look taller.

Let me do a quick recap for you on how I style it with different outfits.

Classic black and white
You can also replace the black to another colour which fits your own pair of sneakers (like yellow for example, a big hit this summer). The point is to keep the same palette in the outfit so that it looks coherent and stylish. T-shirt and jeans is the go-to combo given the leisure nature of the sneakers but you can also shake things up to look classy and chic with Converse. I recently got this skirt which is perfect to wear with the black jumper, and with a low bun, ‘bang!’ – immediately go from street style to occasion-ready.

Patterned one-piece

This is even easier than black and white, and it’s fun. I personally love patterned one-piece, which works equally well on both lazy days when I don’t feel like dressing up and glam days when I need to look decent. Since the jumpsuit or dress itself does the talking, I don’t need fancy shoes here, especially when walking is expected. I mean for sure there are other shoes, like sandals or heels, that make more sense to this kind of outfit. But hey, com’on, it’s the athleisure era, what are you talking about? I much prefer walking in comfort than looking painful on my face because of my aching feet. You should too, don’t you think?
